Established in 1997, our award-winning Nurseries offer the highest standard of childcare in Scotland. Consistently ranked among the highest childcare providers in the country, Step By Step is an organisation run by parents, for parents. Our first priority is your child’s safety and happiness, our second is your peace of mind.
Located in Bearsden, Maryhill and Cumbernauld, our three services offer environments and spaces catered to foster your child’s development and fun.
All of our services are regulated and inspected by Care Inspectorate Scotland and work closely with local authorities. Our nurseries offer government funded pre-school education, since August 2020 this has been 1140 hours for each child. Our nurseries are also regularly inspected by HMIe. We are also members of the National Day Nurseries Association and Early Years Scotland.
Our highly motivated and dedicated staff teams are carefully selected and childcare staff are all registered with the Scottish Social Services Council. Our company and our staff are all committed to staff development at all levels. Our staff continue to study to achieve qualifications in both further education and higher education ranging from SVQ level 3 to Masters in Childhood Practice. Throughout the year staff will also complete professional development courses including Paediatric First Aid and Child Development.
